Product Details
This product is a component of Good’s buffer for biological research. CHES is used as a buffer for studying pH dependent processes in enzymology. The compound has been shown to have abnormally high affinity for the iodoacetate binding site of liver alcohol dehydrogenase. This compound has a pKa of 9.49 at 25 ℃ and can be used in the pH range of 8.6-10.0.
