This product can be used to prepare dyes, fluorescent agents, and photosensitive materials. Used as an intermediate for electroplating additives, used to prepare copper plating brighteners, and can also be used for other precious metal electroplating. In acidic copper plating, it can be used in combination with polyvinyl alcohol or non-ionic surfactants to obtain bright and ductile copper plating layers. It can also be used in other acidic plating solutions, such as acidic silver plating and palladium plating.
