The iodide colorimetric method is based on the participation of I ? in colorimetric/catalytic reactions (such as catalytic colorimetric method, oxidation colorimetric method, etc.), and quantitatively analyzes the changes in absorbance.

Application scenarios

1. Environmental water quality monitoring Catalytic colorimetric method: to evaluate the iodine content of water sources and prevent endemic iodine deficiency or overdose poisoning; Monitor industrial wastewater discharge. Oxidation colorimetric method: For groundwater with high concentration of iodide (such as polluted water samples in mining areas), the detection limit is 0.05 mg/L. 2. Food safety and hygiene Micro bead colorimetric method: rapid detection of iodide (anti caking agent) in table salt, with a detection limit of 0.006 g, suitable for on-site analysis. Oxidation colorimetric method: used for compliance testing of iodine content in food additives. 3. New rapid detection technology Fluorescent probe test paper: Inkjet printed probe onto filter paper, qualitative analysis by color change after dripping water sample. Suitable for high-sensitivity laboratory testing or portable on-site tools (such as emergency water quality screening).
